In addition to treating well known clients, he was the founding donor of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians (NYANP), and has been one of the largest individual donors and fundraisers for the effort to gain licensure for naturopathic doctors in New York State. Dr. Doni Wilson graduated from Bastyr University in year 2000 with a doctor in naturopathic medicine degree and a certificate in midwifery. She fulfilled a residency in general naturopathic medicine at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Seattle, Wash., and was awarded for her contributions. She also served as adjunct faculty member for Bastyr University and went on to complete a women’s health-focused internship with Tori Hudson, ND. Dr. Wilson currently serves as president of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians (NYANP) and has held that position since April 2003. Gaye Leto received her Master's of Science in clinical nutrition from Bridgeport University in 1999. While she highly values her formal education, most of her expertise in healing was derived from her own recovery process.

Twenty-seven years ago Gaye was stricken with a rapidly progressive and extremely debilitating illness which remained misdiagnosed for many years. She had been teaching in South America and returned to the United States with malarial infection that did not manifest openly for several months after arrival. Left untreated, it entered her brain & caused severe swelling known as encephalitis.

Gaye already had life experience with nutrient remedies, so when answers did not come from conventional medicine she sought out alternative doctors. Unfortunately, all treatments only accelerated the degenerative process while she was at her weakest. Financially depleted and with no medical insurance, she was compelled to resort to long years of self-experimentation and independent study to regain her life.

Today Gaye sees herself as the alternative's alternative, best suited to counsel those who do not respond well to formula care. She uses all the modalities available--diet, supplementation, sequential detoxification, herbs and, both, complex and classical homeopathy. However, her sensitivity in understanding how and when to apply these tools so as to compel the optimal healing response without unnecessary trauma is a unique integration of her life and clinical experience as well as traditional study.

Christie Harrington was educated in his native Ireland before participating in undergraduate studies at London University from where he graduated in 1972.

A further two years of post-graduate work ensued before deciding that his interest in Oriental medicine compelled him to pursue this course under the direction and guidance of the eminent Professor J.R. Worsley at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa, England.

This thorough training took a further seven years both in the theory and practice of Oriental medicine and Western medical sciences, earning Harrington a further two degrees.

Upon graduation, this physician practiced in London for seven years in a multidisciplinary clinic (including allopathic physicians), before emigrating to the U.S. in 1990 to fulfill a long held ambition to practice here.

He is both New York Board certified and Nationally Board certified (N.C.C.A.)

Christie is a Member of the American Academy of Pain Managment and participated in Acupuncturists without Borders.

He also works with patients toward the reconciliation of emotional and physical pain, at his Acupuncture Center in Port Jefferson.
